GENERAL:

How much does it cost to attend? The Forum is a free event.

Who will be at the Forum? Contractors and Aboriginal businesses operating in the road, port and rail industry. Other support organisations will be there including Supply Nation and Aboriginal Business Directory WA. The Transport Portfolio will also have a booth and include representatives from Main Roads, Department of Transport, Public Transport Authority, Westport and METRONET. 

How do I get there? The RAC Arena is accessible by car or public transport. There is a large car park accessible via Milligan St and Market St underneath the Arena and nearby parking options on Elder Street and Watertown. The RAC Arena is a 10 minute walk from Perth Train Station and Busport. Find more information about your journey via the RAC Arena website.

How much does it cost to park at the RAC Arena? Click here to see rates for the RAC Arena parking. Please note “Event Parking” does not apply on this occasion.

CONTRACTORS (BUYERS):

Should I host a booth or attend as a guest? If you’re a company operating in the road, port and rail sector and are interested in engaging Aboriginal businesses, hosting a booth is the right option for you

Who should attend? Senior representatives who can answer questions about the company’s services, procurement and upcoming engagement opportunities

When will I receive my booth allocation? 30 October 2023

What do I bring? Promotional material e.g. banners, posters, flyers, giveaways

What size is my booth? And do I need to print anything? When your booth registration is confirmed, you will receive a ‘Buyer Exhibitor Pack’ which includes all booth dimensions for printing/branding purposes, plus a list of inclusions and add ons

Can I add a TV to my booth? Yes, if you would like to discuss additions to your booth please contact kirstythompson@perthexpo.com.au directly with the subject line ‘Meet the Buyer and Supplier Forum 2023’. Please note, all costs associated with booth upgrades are the booth hosts’ responsibility

What time can I set up? This information will be provided to you once you registered and have been assigned a booth

What time can I pack down? Pack down can occur from 1:30pm

What time am I needed at the booth? Please ensure your booth is staffed from 10:15am - 1:30pm

Where do I park? Can I drop off items closer to the venue? This information will be provided to you once you registered and have been assigned a booth

When is the cut off for registration? Buyer registrations closes COB 26 October 2023

ABORIGINAL BUSINESSES (SUPPLIERS):

Should I attend as a guest, or host a booth? If you’re an Aboriginal business interested in gaining contracts with contractors operating in the road, port and rail sector, attending as a guest is the right option for you

When will I receive my tickets? You will receive your tickets 1-3 business days after making a request

What do I bring? Business cards, capability statements, previous work experience - anything that will share your business story with contract holders

What time do I need to be there? Please arrive from 8:00am for registration. The plenary begins at 9am, so please ensure you arrive with enough time to register
